Aloft Austin Downtown Hotel

The hotel had an unbeatable location very close to the bars in Austin. Had nice dainties at Voodoo Doughnuts, located easy walk to the venue. Booked a room with a king bed.

Cool option among 3 stars hotels. The accommodating and exceptionally nice staff all round. Excellent food options. Top-notch service, great location to the fitness center. Great overall experience.

It was just a prime choice for a brief pit stop in Austin with real value for money. The valet staff were really kind and helped jump my car battery when it died. For future stays, note that parking can get pricey, so budget accordingly.

I loved the vibrant atmosphere and sleek design of our room. The rooftop pool offered fine views of the city, and the lounge area was perfect for unwinding. Don't miss the delicious breakfast at the onsite restaurant. It was a great start to our day!

great stay but could be quieter

The room was clean and functional. We found the hotel very centrally located, with access to all the hotspots. We particularly loved the coffee bar. It had a fantastic selection, and we enjoyed relaxing there. The city view from our room was a bonus.

Some street noise at night might be a concern for light sleepers.

The location of Aloft in Austin is fantastic. It's right in the heart of downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful . I appreciated the comfortable bed, easy to relax after a long day of sightseeing. I ran into a few issues. The water pressure in the shower was low, and the water had an odd smell . Bar service also took a while, frustrating when I was just looking for a quick drink. My biggest concern came when I realized my room wasn't cleaned at all during my three-night stay. I needed more towels and toilet paper, and it became a hassle to reach out for help multiple times. I left a day early because it just wasn't worth the stress. Despite the great location and helpful staff, the lack of attention to room cleaning left me disappointed.

The location couldn't be better, central to dining and entertainment. I noticed some accessibility issues in common areas. A good experience!

Couples looking for a fun getaway

Great location downtown. The bar had this guava rita that was just outta sight, my favorite! Staff was friendly and upgraded us to a better room for just $20 a night.

Had a blast with my friends exploring Sixth Street's nightlife and checking out the fun at Upstairs at Caroline. Perfect location for everything! Super close to all the great spots. Just a heads up, some noise from the street can be heard at night, so light sleepers might want to consider that.

The room was really pleasant and had awesome city views. The bed was super comfy, and there was plenty of space to chill and unpack. Plus, the staff was friendly and quick to help out. I was there during SXSW, but everything seemed smooth with the service. Definitely liked having a laundry option too! A solid experience.
